Location: Fully onsite in Irvine, CA

Job Type: Temporary-to-Hire

Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 5:30 AM-4:00 PM (4x10 - Every Friday Off!)

Pay: $24 - 27/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • * Production assembly of complex biomedical products with direction from team leader
    * Work across multiple work cells/assembly stations to meet business targets and deliver within the std. assembly time
    * Advanced product testing and qualification to released procedures and standard work
    * Timely and accurate data recording / record management, related to manufacturing tasks and DHRs
    * Compliance with policies; procedures and international quality standards.
    * Follow good documentation practices
    * Perform assembly to a very high level of workmanship
    * Identify issues and escalate to the team leader / management
    * Review and complete DHR records
    * Supervise / lead a team to deliver an outcome on a project or activity
    * Work under limited supervision
    * Training of new team members in manufacturing processes.
    * Manual handling, lifting and inventory management tasks.
    * Day to day equipment maintenance
    * Participate in the investigation of non-conformances
    * Follow safe work procedures and report workplace hazards
    * Wear appropriate PPE / attire as required by the process
    * Apply 5S principles in local work environment
    * Undertake inventory cycle counts and stocktaking
    * Inspection of incoming supplier materials
    * Provide valuable DFM and improvement feedback to design and NPI teams
    * Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • * 3-5+ years experience in complex product assembly and testing (regulated industry preferred)
    * Able to read, understand and follow detailed manufacturing work instructions, bills of materials and production
    orders
    * Able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively including following instructions from team leaders and management
    * Excellent attention to detail with a focus on workmanship quality
    * Demonstrated experience in effective interpersonal skills and team engagement
    * Able to use computer systems to: Record process and DHR information; and Interact with the ERP system to access product data and manage inventory
